@Surasanji Knowing a few things about the nature of the universe would be very interesting:
- To what extend its the universe deterministic?
- How did life begin? How can we recreate that setting?
- What is the mind? What do we perceive exactly?
- How can we travel through time (besides the usual 1s/s-only-forwards type)?
- What set off the Big Bang?

Hi all,
I'm new here and it feels a bit like the first days on Twitter.
I'm a freelance science journalist and will soon start a serial about the history of CRISPR/Cas9 (the new gene editing tool, that is going to change the world, probably) at a new german independent science journalism platform called Riffreporter (riffreporter.de (no publisher required)). I work as a science journalist for nearly twenty years now, For some years I worked at a university, teaching and doing a project about health journalism (medien-doktor.de/medizin). I started creating podcasts (habichgehoert-fandichgut.de) and audiostories soundcloud.com/anhaeuser and I have blog called Plazeboalarm since 2005 about pseudosience, bad health reporting etc. at the german Scienceblogs scienceblogs.de/plazeboalarm

I can help with all things around science communication etc.

@pkok @IsaacMaw_Robots We all hope for the Roddenberry vision of the future. Honestly, I dream about it.

But, a lot of people forget that humanity had to go through a literal hell before that future was realized.

I don't know, for sure, but I can only hope for the best.

@criw I've found that most games balanced and designed around a single-player experience don't always translate well to a multiplayer experience. I'll be very happy if they just focus on that single player cyberpunk goodness that I crave.

Today's #RandomQuestion is...

@Surasanji Great question. Here's a problem: What are we all going to do for a living when robotics and AI make human work obsolete?

That would be a good one to solve.

Today's #RandomQuestion is...

Hey there ! Hope you're all having a fantastic day so far. My boss' dog is in the office today, which is always nice. He's an excellent manager.

Today's is as follows:

If you could solve one as of yet unsolved mystery, problem, theorem or other such unknown what would it be?

Again, no wrong answers!

For me, I'd like to solve the P vs NP problem. It's way outside my skill set, sure, but it probably be a way to get some sort of movie deal, right?

Looking forward to hearing your guy's answers!

I'm a late 20s mechatronics engineer who helps design and build electric vehicles. In my off time I play hockey and hit the gym. I'm also getting used to a life as a new dad!! Looking to connect with some like minded people.

@SecondJon I've really enjoyed it so far. I haven't put hundreds of hours onto it, yet, but so far very stable without any big issues.

The Dev is also very quick to respond to things and it is being actively developed. So, good stuff!

@phyu Maybe. I can't pretend to understand Facebook's moderation systems. I don't really use facebook.

@Surasanji The dude rarely posts anything hateful though; just donations to monks posts, his activities and military operations. There’re a lot of pages out there(from both sides) promoting hate speech than him. Well, fb can ban anyone controversial if they want to, it’s their platform but I’ve a feeling it’s not going to end well.
