In 2011, the Lutsk railway station was restored and rebuilt. The architect Andros Bidzilya designed the station with three domes - as in the picture. However, the head of the Lviv Railway was indignant: "There are three domes at the Lviv railway station, and there should be one at the Lutsk railway station." Lutsk is not Lviv!". And solemnly crossed out the two domes on the paper where the facade project was depicted. Basically, everywhere you look in America, things are peachy for the whitest and wealthiest people and in the areas they care about while things are literally falling apart everywhere else.

COVID and increasingly climate change are showing how unsustainable that gap is, though, as even those privileged areas depend on a vast network of infrastructure and human labor to keep them going.

But they're convinced they can keep on this way forever.

Republicans don't give a damn about the debt or deficit. They've raised the debt ceiling again and again while handing out trillions in tax cuts to billionaires. Their goal is to cut Social Security and Medicare, which tens of millions of Americans rely on to stay out of poverty.

Sunsets, skate boarding & his positive nature were all things Tyre Nichols was known for.

When Nichols was murdered by cops, he was on his way home from taking sunset photos at a park.

He was 100 yards away from his parents' house when he was stopped by cops who killed him.

Nichols is survived by his 4 y/o son.

He loved being a father & loved his son.

When he wasn't working, Nichols headed to Shelby Farms Park to skateboard, something he'd been doing since he was 6 y/o.
