Hey so, I've been suddenly laid off from my Threat Intel job. While they accepted I have the reason and the decision isn't fair, the reality is I need a new job.
I will send my CV to places in the next few days when I'm emotionally recovered. But I wanted to give a shot over here first because I know there's a lot of amazing technical profiles over here.
Here's a little thread about my profile, I'm happy to listen to opportunities.

@TheOldGuy Well, it already happens here… Of course there’s no rightwing nutcase #Elon who can invent policy as he pleases and there will always be a mastodon instance (or many) to join but conversation is also exchange of diverging viewpoints and not only groupthink echo chambers. There are examples of admins being aggressive in blocking other main stream instances that are perceived not fully in line with their fringe views…. That’s not healthy.

For 3 days the computer system was down at the local pharmacy. They had to call in IT technicians from over the Mountains and canyons and through the woods.
Actually it was getting kinda scary. I felt bad for the pharmacy.
They delivered my meds around 8:30 last evening. The driver told me about his journey. It was cold outside.
People are so kind.

LGBTQ hate is on the rise and queer youth are suffering. So I turned to LGBT Elders for advice, collecting stories of love, triumph and resistance. My latest, for @washingtonpost.
Pls share this with a young queer person in your life—there’s no paywall.

If he refuses he will go to jail. The executive privilege issue has already been through the courts. They can not keep bringing up the issue. The courts have ruled that Biden as the present executive gets to make the decision.
