Today, the Kremlin media has spread another false claim - that the SBU was planning a terrorist attack in the area known as Transnistria. The Security Service of Ukraine has responded to this. They have stated that any claims made by the so-called Ministry of State Security of the Transnistrian Peoples Republic regarding the SBU's involvement in a terrorist attack should be seen as nothing more than a provocation orchestrated by the Kremlin. The Security Service of Ukraine is urging people not to take seriously the lies that Russia is spreading in order to destabilize the area that it is actually occupying and controlling, and to not believe the accusations against Ukraine.
Natalia Humeniuk warned that the threat is not yet over, as two missile carriers equipped with 16 Kalibr missiles are still waiting in the Black Sea. She noted that the enemy had attempted to deceive us by bringing the missile carriers to their basing points, as well as the activity of tactical and strategic aviation.
Poland's Defense Minister announced that they have sent an additional ten Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine. Furthermore, Poland is beginning to establish a center for servicing Ukrainian Leopard tanks, as the parts needed for them have been scarce and have not been manufactured for the past two decades.
A rocket attack in the morning caused damage to an energy infrastructure facility in the capital, resulting in disruptions to the heat supply and leaving some Kyiv residents without heating. All services are working to address the consequences of the Russian missile strike and are doing their best to restore heat and water supply to Kyiv residents as quickly as possible.
Observers have reported that five Russian VKS helicopters (four Mi-24s and one Mi-8) took off from the Machulishchi airfield today and landed at the Luninets airfield, which is closer to the border of Belarus and Ukraine. Additionally, another Mi-8 helicopter was seen heading towards the Lepelsky training ground. It is too soon to speculate whether this is a sign of a relocation of a group of Russian VKS helicopters closer to the border with Ukraine, as it could be a training flight with a landing at another airfield. The situation is being monitored closely.
The enemy has not been successful in achieving its main objectives: the power system is still functioning, it has not been shut down, and it has not collapsed. However, there has been damage to energy infrastructure in many regions, including thermal power plants and Ukrenergo substations, resulting in power supply restrictions in some areas. We are currently working to restore power supply to all regions, with some areas being able to be restored quickly and others taking more time due to the significant damage. An assessment of the damage is still ongoing, and more precise recovery timeframes will be provided by the end of the day. We are working around the clock to ensure that all consumers receive reliable power supply as soon as possible, according to Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo.
Based on the report, it appears that the enemy has been able to reduce the cost of modern X-101/555 missiles. Previously, the rate of production and consumption of these missiles was roughly equal, but now, with the introduction of different types of missiles, there is a surplus of X-101/555 missiles, with approximately 57 units left in enemy warehouses. The X-47 Daggers and X-22 missiles present a serious challenge to air defense systems, as they are supersonic/hypersonic and difficult to detect and shoot down without the latest Western air defense systems. Our air defense system has performed well, and we thank you for your hard work. It is likely that the enemy will continue to use this type of attack, as it is effective for them.
Take a break. We have been under missile attack for 6 hours and the enemy's tactics have shifted. We don't have enough information to make an assessment yet, so we are waiting for the Command's report. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. The aviation team is still in the air, but I'm taking a break for now. I hope you can understand, as I have been with you for 24 hours.
