This difficult and lengthy day is coming to a close. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of those who have been taken from us by Russian aggression. We are doing our best to protect people, and this issue of air defense for Ukraine has been raised in every international meeting and negotiation. However, protecting people means protection at all levels, and it is the responsibility of local authorities to ensure that shelters are available and accessible around the clock. It is heartbreaking to see the losses that have been caused by negligence of this duty, and if it is not fulfilled, law enforcement must take action. Today is Children's Day, and while we celebrate, a Ukrainian child has been taken from us by a terrorist state. Russia has also shelled our cities, from Kharkiv to Kherson, from Kyiv to Donbas. We have used this day to the best of our ability to bring us closer to victory and to hold Russia accountable for their actions. I thank all of our soldiers, those who train them, those who provide weapons, those who treat the wounded, the rescuers, the State Emergency Service, and all of the volunteers who are helping our soldiers, our people, and our country. Together, we are walking side by side to our victory

The Belarusian military is training to shoot down drones with blank cartridges, though the Ministry of Defense has not provided any explanation as to how this would be effective. It appears that Belarus is not looking to learn how to effectively combat drones, but rather just creating videos for show.
