Grain deal prevented Ukraine from destroying the Russian fleet

If not for the Grain Deal, Ukraine could have destroyed the Russian fleet by now. Therefore, we need to forget about partial agreements, and ensure the opening of ports for all types of goods. This was stated by the Ukrainian military Roman Svitan.

“We must forget about the word “deal”. Deal only with the devil can be. We need to open ports as much as possible, and not just for grain. What grain? After all, we have something to ship, and the world has something to buy from us. Therefore, to open ports,” Svitan stressed.

According to him, it was only thanks to the existence of the Grain Deal that the Kremlin was able to maintain its fleet.

“The few dozen ships that the Russians have can be sunk in a year. And if there hadn't been this Grain deal since last year, there wouldn't be a Black Sea Fleet this year. It simply would not exist, because it would be possible to work on it,” Svitan emphasized.

This is what $600 worth of logs looks like. These were all too small for the mills but mixed with the big ones so they got cut. And some are hickory which the mills can't use. But I love hickory. Not good in a fireplace but great in an enclosed wood stove. It pops a lot, throwing out embers.

Let's read together !
It is not the first time that I have noticed that some people like to grab hold of some valid argument, in their opinion, and, without delving into the details at all, wave it to the right and to the left.

"They must!", "West, where are our guarantees?!!" - This is now rushing from all corners. I think that many have already guessed what the Budapest memorandum is about.

If you are one of those who haven't read it, but know exactly what it is about, this short post is for you. If you don't know, all the more.

So, briefly and about the main thing: about those two points of the memorandum, which are interpreted by many people in the wrong way.

Number one, aka point four. He says that the countries that signed the memorandum are obliged to demand immediate action from the UN Security Council in the event of aggression towards Ukraine . Once again - demand action from the UN Security Council.

Did everyone read it? great.

In this point, there is no obligation to take direct action to provide assistance. Bonus - we all remember WHO is part of the UN Security Council? That's it.

Number two, aka point six. The countries that signed the memorandum undertake to hold consultations in case of aggression. The key word here is consultation . AGAIN consultations.
To Summarize.

There is no promise of direct protection and the supply of weapons in the event of aggression in the memorandum. Point.

Has the country of shit and vodka (c) violated the memorandum? - OF COURSE IT HAS.

Have the US and UK violated it? - No, it was not violated. They have not violated, they are not obliged, they should not. All.

The rest is your emotions and fantasies. Don't take wishful thinking for granted. If you want to argue and blame, look for other arguments. And think about it, how did it happen that Ukraine exchanged something very concrete and important for something so impractical?

And also, some people should learn the word "thanks" in relation to those countries that should not help, but do it.
