If he wants to appeal he has to post the amount of the award. And he won't win. His behavior during trial was too outrageous. The jury was allowed to base the award on his behavior.

I finally finished my audiobook, Chiefs, by Stuart Woods. Austensibly about the various chiefs of police in a small town in Georgia, it does an excellent job of portraying the treatment of Black's from 1920 through the 1960s.
