On March 8, thousands of people gathered near the parliament for a second consecutive day of protests, during which security forces used water cannons and tear gas.

Dmytro was 27 years old when he passed away, and he had been a soldier since he was 18. In 2021, the President of Ukraine honored Dmytro with the title of Hero of Ukraine. A funeral service will be held for him on March 9 in the village of Bovshiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
