I am a 71 year old Covid hermit who
lives on 10 acres in a sparsely populated area of the Ozarks. I heat with wood that is leftover by the lumber industry. When cutting oak for lumber only the trunk is used.

A Rose of Sharon I planted as a seedling has flowered during the night. I planted another this year. The place I am planting them is so rocky it takes a pick and a San Angelo bar to plant one. This one turned out to be the double flowering type. I have another area where I have a 140 foot rows of them 5 feet apart. That's why I keep getting seedlings.

I spent most of the day pulling weeds and removing a few low branches. This is my pile.
That boy that was killed in the lumber mill should not have been there. They are not allowed to work hazardous jobs. I said at the time that all jobs in a lumber mill are hazardous. The state agrees with me.
I don't drink the water at my house but feel fine about bathing in it. It is loaded with lime and calcium. The hardest water in the state. And it's only 40 cents a gallon for good water. And my coffee maker loves it. I even give it to the cats. Don't want them getting kidney stones.
Good Morning Resisters. It's a beautiful morning but I have my guard up. Yesterday started beautiful and turned nasty.
