I feel bad for the people of China, and hope they can free themselves from the CCP after they make it through the effects of the reversed zero covid policy.

I remember being in a coffee shop on Jan 6th 2021. The footage seemed very surreal then.

I’ll admit, I didn’t agree with pushing into the capitol building at the time. However, after seeing everything revealed in the Twitter files, I feel those arrested at the event should be offered amnesty, or some kind of reparations.

I finished 1984, I’m a little sad I listened to it as an audiobook instead of reading.

I pointed that out in my initial response.
Imo, I don’t think children of ages low as 9 (which was one of the ages of the kids in the videos shown in the thread) should be allowed in these events even with warning, in the same way we don’t usually allow people under the age 17-18 into strip clubs.
Its kind of gross, and I’m sure most people would agree.

There is an argument that the event, in addition to being for all ages, did warn of adult content. Though I’m not sure how adult content, by definition, could ever be for all ages.
