@bluecerealeducation @edutooters I often think of the process and product of learning, and how sometimes my goal is simply for students to experience something z rather than a specific learning goal.
I think it's important to recognize that some experiences are going to engage students meaningfully and that although learning may be different for each, that they will all learn and move along a trajectory.

@mguhlin glad I shut that account down, my question now is what it will take to get more users to leave, and that place be reduced to a fringe platform.

@juddlegum important to remember that the Saudi Royals would be as happy to see the press suppressed and their critics of course as they would with the bird app burning down. The end game is silencing critics and a heavy cost is acceptable.

Musk is reportedly desperately search for more investors as Twitter bleeds cash.

Did he go to Qatar to pitch Kushner, who has billions from the Saudis?

Dear @elonmusk@twitter.com

I would like to report @Telsa@twitter.com for this clear violation of Twitter rules.

These rules are very important and made by you, our benevolent leader.

I trust you will be suspending this account shortly.

All the best.

@jack@twitter.com It's important to realize that this social network is in the process of being destroyed not just because of @elonmusk@twitter.com but because of the Twitter board which agreed to sell it to him and people like @jack@twitter.com, who encouraged them

Y'all know Elno and other narcissist are extremely insecure people.

They coerce, bully, threaten, abuse because they are weak not smart people.

I am not Musk's lackey.

I will not change the way I tweet every day in order to comply with rules he makes up in the morning.

Make whatever rules you want.

Ban me if you want.

I will not comply.

I really think we need to reject the term "content creator."

That phrase is used by people who aim to Monetize™ us without needing to care about what it is we create. A "content creator" is there to make the stuff that attracts people so they can be fed advertising.

Call us what we are. Artists. Essayists. Film makers. Authors. Photographers. And so many others. We are creators, yes, but what we create has so much value beyond filling otherwise empty space on a website.

Musk's autocratic and arbitrary rule over this site is a particular threat to independent journalists.

About half of the current subscribers to my newsletter, which is how I support myself, found out about it through Twitter

A lot of my reporting scrutinizes billionaires like Musk and the politicians, like Ron DeSantis, that he favors

I just completed my 6th term and I have to confess it was the hardest and most contentious. Two key takeaways.
1) Ungrading with a focus on student equity, agency, and learning is a continuously evolving and requires continuous refinement. I think back to traditional grading policies and how easy (yet arbitrary) it was to decide how many points and what structures were accepted for things (i.e. homework policies, test grade % etc..)
2) as I prepare for the next cohort of students and next iteration, I am refining contract grading and being more transparent with course expectations, students' own goals and the activities and tasks in the course designed to meet the learning goals. It has taken much longer than I expected and a great deal of feedback from our entire team to revise this document, and which reflect the required thoughtfulness and reflection needed to progress in ungrading.
Attaching the current iteration of the doc, grade justification will be based on this. Feedback and thoughts always appreciated
