@thesasha You are absolutely 100% correct, but I think the reason this is happening is that the media have proven themselves unreliable and interested in profit over truth, so people are naturally suspicious. The press has taken the side of the police, the billionaires, and the corrupt politicians over the public good so often that when they actually do report the truth, the people think it's suspicious. It's a vicious circle, and it's their own fault. Frankly I have no sympathy whatsoever for the reported who was arrested. If the media had been doing it's job, our country would never have become a place where this could happen in the first place. They made the bed; they can lie in it.
@karlo Can't think of any recommendations, but I just wanted to say that the sequel to "The Man from Earth" was really terrible. The first one was pretty good though.

Most are elderly. Go after their sources of income.
Buy less gasoline. Switch to a heat pump. Go solar. Don't shop at Uline, Home Depot or Hobby Lobby. Protest pipeline construction. Don't buy Oracle. Support Ukraine. Stay out of the stock market. Support taxing the rich. Support laws restricting hedge funds & ending Citizens United.
