@heidikitrosser They don't have very many different strategies, or particularly sophisticated ones, but the ones that they do have appear to have been refined and calibrated until they are disproportionally effective. Of course billionaire allies buying the entire media also helps.

I haven't bought a paper or paid a cable bill in 20 years, and yet I know that I am not uninformed compared to my peers. In my opinion, they are at this point doing more harm than good.

@Benfell @StillIRise1963 For sure. One could expect an average person to fall victim to such fallacious reasoning, but I thought that #journalists were supposed to be curious and seek the truth. Maybe it was naive of me to think that.

@SteveRogers It's been shown that if you can keep them away from the propaganda for a time, the hatred and brainwashing starts to fade. That's why they made sure to monopolize all forms of media; so that there is always garbage going in.

@kattullus They aren't good at providing a good experience, but they are good at making sure it's difficult to leave. I left for 2 years once, and I thought my account was gone and everything. But someone posted a facebook link that I followed, and, boom, I was magically logged in like I had never left.

@notwhatwethink That's is precisely the way to control the narrative. Before your Uncle Frank says the words "cancel culture" cut him off at the pass by asking him "how is it freedom and liberty to be forced to pay for a channel I don't watch?" Go on the offense; they aren't prepared for that.
And most importantly, don't complain about the media, BECOME THE MEDIA!
