* #Tweetdeck is called "advanced web interface" in the Mastodon settings: Preferences/Appearance [x] Enable advanced web interface
* It offers a Markdown content-type

* Retoot often! Stars are silent!

* Editing a post deletes it and re-posts it. Comments might get orphaned!

* Some instances offer more features than others: for example, https://qoto.org has quoted toots (RT), Groups, LaTeX, way longer toots and more!

* Most instances offer an API for bots like @poptoots. Also, there's an instance for bots only: https://botsin.space

Does anyone use a desktop Mastodon client on #Linux?

I'm trying #Whalebird. It has a couple nice features: keyboard navigation mainly (though even that's a bit clunky), and multi-account management. But it feels quite heavy - #Electron to blame maybe - and is pretty limited in customization options.

@arbocenc@todon.nl has been #censored for this and another thread. You can ping it at @arbocenc@kfem.cat and, soon, at the free speech instance https://qoto.org as @arbocenc@qoto.org

I like the "Message to new members" here: https://qoto.org/about/more

It's not #propaganda @publicvoit , it's just #opinions/#arguments that surprise you because all us are in our little bubble. Yours, in the #Ukrainian stuff, is #mainstream, but it's not "the truth", just the result of the mainstream propaganda
