I don't think I've ever understood quantum mechanics, I still visualize photons as particles and wavelength as something else. Are they to be considered the same thing and the words usable interchangeably?

@InvaderXan

@InvaderXan
Is there such thing as an ultraviolet photon?

@sbjohnsrpi
I appreciate your care for others, in not wanting to post low quality stuff, btw

@sbjohnsrpi
A feeling I have is that interesting or creative thoughts are more similar to muscles than to money: you train them, more than spending them

@fdroidorg@mastodon.technology
I just updated the repo but new icons didn't show even after I cleared the cache. I had to remove the app data, and then I could see them. Should I submit an issue or is meant to work that way?
@matrix

@snailix@scicomm.xyz added him to my feeds, thanks!

#til that posturology is likely a #pseudoscience.

It seems so infamous that wikipedia doesn't even bother to have a single page or reference about it. Does anyone have a reliable source about it?

(that's what happen when your elbow hurts and you look for a doctor. You end up spending 3 days on pubmed trying to figure out the best treatment)

@uncle_gobo
Welcome!

@moshtodon
I haven't tried it but sparss desync should sync without the need for a server, just using syncthing

@Surasanji
The guacamole one is gold

@xosem@mstdn.io
I use it since a while, works like a charm!

@snailix@scicomm.xyz yes please, really looking forward to your stuff!

@davidgasquez so very true. Welcome to the fediverse =)

@snailix@scicomm.xyz Hi, I remember that, I didn't know the practicality of the communication and that it involved a show... I'll wait for your website/video series to discover more about it then :)

@tom79@mastodon.social maybe we could move the lines and the points a bit so that we have a F and an L inside it instead of the symmetrical pentagram.

@tom79@mastodon.social I also think that the current icon is cool, I see the need for a change as mastalab is supporting different platforms but I'd really wait for some mind-blowing idea to come up before giving up the elephant.

@Oz

I was all in for fedapp though

@tom79@mastodon.social

@snailix@scicomm.xyz wait, you were a scientist and you were at sea, what show are you talking about now?
