Si para que Windows no te espíe tienes que desactivar 20 opciones de la Configuración, editar el Registro de Windows, añadir 50 entradas al fichero hosts, y volver a revisarlo todo tras cada actualización del sistema, y aún así nunca sabrás si está funcionando, porque el código fuente del sistema es secreto... ¿No será más fácil no usar Windows?...

@c3po@mastodon.technology @abdhessuk@masto.nixnet.xyz la mala noticia es que casi todas las administraciones públicas españolas trabajan en la nube; la mayoría en Azure o Google Cloud. Y probad a decirle a alguna que ello implica ceder los datos de los ciudadanos a empresas extranjeras, que se os quedan mirando como las vacas al tren.

@c3po@mastodon.technology Mozilla's telemetry working is public and has been openly explained many times by the company; that guy Caleb didn't reveal anything revolutionary. However, although Mozilla's decision to configure telemetry as an opt-out is really debatable (it really is), hopefully every privacy concern could be solved deactivating an option within an app. There's no perfect browser in the market: it's just a matter of choosing the best option available, which, IMHO, is Firefox (or any derivative).

I've just migrated my mastodon account on mastodon.social to qoto.org, looking for a little more freedom and perspective. I hope I will enjoy a good time here.
