OP-ED: The Satanic Temple of Chicago sees Satan as "the hero" in the biblical Garden of Eden, "because he gave Eve the gift of knowledge" when he sent a serpent to tempt Eve with an apple from the Tree of Knowledge, @nprscottsimon says.

@LWFlouisa I didn't know you were so artsy.
@DragonessDella@octodon.social I'm just getting a kick out of this right now. I can just picture this.
RT @MastodonProject@twitter.com: @Ciredieter@twitter.com @Kuroaichan1@twitter.com @Pillowfort_io@twitter.com @TryGhost@twitter.com People flag their own posts as sensitive, there is no automated system that flags people's posts. Mods step in when people don't flag... that, but since it's a live feed, it doesn't happen instantly. Depending on server, bad actors are punished though!

RT @Gordidon@twitter.com: It is so cool how I can update my AP at home from miles away and when I get home I don’t have to experience downtime. All thanks to @ubnt@twitter.com 💪💪💪 #UbiquitiEverywhere
Thanks @PartikoTeam@twitter.com for supporting drafting of comments. I wrote a nice big long one that I can't post right now due to not enough RC. I can easily get back there. #Share2Steem
@Luxotek@jorts.horse I would a hundred percent agree with you.

Only thing I dislike so far about Walebird. The edit fields, screen readers don't read the letters.
@duskheart This is so legit. I never thought of it, but you just made me think really hard there for a sec.

ok but
Do you know, when you try to follow/interact with something on mastadon when you're not logged in, and it asks you what account to log in from?
Theorectically, what's stopping you from saying you're someone who you're not?

Now I quite wish Breizh would have their emoji set.
So much symbols that could be put in it.

@hasmis I do, though by choice.
@hasmis I learned that in a spiritual book I read. Actually, father Christmas is also Merlin. Not entirely sure how that works.

@cambridgeport90 I've probably told this story before. When my kids asked I said "You think I'd get you all this stuff if I didn't believe in Santa Claus?" After that they were quiet as to no shatter my belief. :)
It's Father Christmas, first of all, and second of all, he's spirit. He's one of Archangel Rafael's aspects. You're welcome.
RT @lifehacker@twitter.com "I don’t remember the moment I stopped believing in Santa, but I remember the utterly perfect way my mom handled it when I finally asked." http://lifehac.kr/vj7VP4e
