This weekend should be interesting. Might ask around to get a list of visuals on Windows so that I can better support the sighted non-technical community. It's about time that I realize my weaknesses and start thinking about ways to adapt rather than try to factor my blindness into my methods of support. I've played the "blind card" for too long without even realizing it.

Today I had to pause teaching someone accessible CAD to review: square vs rectangle, height vs width, and how much an inch is. Exempting blind learners from geometry and other spatiallyoriented subjects is a theft, not a favor. Given the chance, we can and will learn.
