I just graphed Mastodon's MONTHLY ACTIVE USERS each day for the month of November.

At the end of October there were 496K active users, and at the end of November there are 2.6M -- that's over 500% growth.

This is just ACTIVE users; there are millions more non-active accounts.

(For comparison, Twitter allegedly has 396.5M monthly active users, or about 152x the active userbase of Mastodon.)

Ever wonder why we assign ideas about masculinity & femininity to certain colors & styles?

Until the 1940s, pink was considered a strong color most suitable for boys. Ultimately, retailers decided to associate specific colors to gender to sell more stuff... which, in reality, is kind of a scam.

Boys also used to wear dresses until age 6 or 7. They were considered gender neutral until someone dictated how we should perceive them.

Do NOT sign up for Inkitt.

Go ahead and search "Inkitt scam" for at least a dozen reasons why.

They are predatory, they will take your first-pub rights, and they will profit off of you while giving you less exposure than you would get posting your whole damn book on your own social media.
