Twitter has moved from flagging Mastodon links as malware to preventing them from being posted at all (I assume it's all Mastodon links and not just me). They did allow the URL in alt text, although I'm not sure whether that's policy or negligence.

I remember Twitter being very white prior to about 2014, but Ferguson changed everything because some Black voices got elevated and diversity began growing around then — or perhaps white folks like me realized it was important to start diversifying our feeds and hearing more voices from across the human spectrum.

It starts with initiatives like #BlackFriday. I applaud those who are working hard to foster that community on here and look forward to the same with Asian & Indigenous voices.
