Picturesque canyon on the Girsky Tikich river. This place is also called "Little Switzerland" for its beautiful scenery. It was here that the first hydroelectric power station built on the territory of Ukraine was located. Currently, only the ruins of the HPP remain. There is also a man-made Vyr waterfall nearby. January In The Garden (Protection)

The great Swamp Willow is home to the Swallowtails, Tiger and Zebra. A dozen will leave their cocoons and float all day among the flowers carefully planted for them here in Summer. A calming cloud. On a quiet day you can hear their wings flutter.

But remember there was no tabbouleh last year. The precious parsley must be protected somehow. Otherwise, again, a caterpillar’s markings will say, "Sorry gardener, I ate it while you were away."

Two old photos of my cat. The first is fuzzy, since I had to take it from quite some distance, and enlarging it didn't keep things neat & sharp. He was still so shy then. (He'd been two weeks with me by then, having spent his first four months outside, as a farmyard kitten.)
The second pic I took two months later; no more issues with shyness by that time.

#Astronomers dutifully removed all light from known sources from over 200,000 #Hubble images. Yet an even, dim glow remained when it should have been dark. Equivalent to the brightness of 10 fireflies if spread over the whole sky, it is hardly a significant source of light #pollution. One theory suggests the glow is the reflection of #sunlight off the dust left by innumerable #comets. If true, this would represent another structure of our #solarsystem.
