Being religious is perfectly fine with me. I have no problem with people's religion.
If you're Catholic, you do you.
If you're Protestant, you do you.
If you're any other form of Christian, you do you.
If you're Jewish, you do you.
If you believe in Hinduism, Buddhism, or Daoism, you do you.
If you are Islamic, you do you.
If you are Pagan, you do you.
If you still believe in the Old gods, like the Aesir, you do you.
If you believe in a religion you made up five minutes ago, you do fucking you.
My belief that religion is dumb doesn't come from religion itself. It comes from people who use religion to justify their horrible actions.
When your argument is centered around your faith, my faith in your argument vanishes immediately.

The old Truman quip: “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog” does not hold for Supreme Court justices it seems, who have no problems making friends with some very generous people who also happen to be conservative activists.
Last year we learned that Judge Alito shared information about a big court case with some of these friends, who were part of a co-ordinated effort to lobby the court.

Went to a donut shop in Japan today.
They had a CO2 monitor on the counter and a UV light on, plus circulating air through the ventilation system.
Also all the staff and most of the customers were masked. 😷
It's really not that hard and if a donut shop can do it we can certainly do it at least in schools and hospitals.
