I'm based in Australia and build digital communications plans. My background was TV so I'm someone who loves the power of story.
I was a Twitter original and believe in the power of social media.
I'm here to see if this is the network for me. Threads has left me a little underwhelmed. #SayHi
Awhile ago I saw a post mentioning @clarkesworld a magazine I didn't know anything about. Nothing strange about that, I'm usually not particularly clued up. It mentioned something about subscriptions via Amazon ending. I got curious and bought a digital copy, and realised how much fun short fiction can be.

People that fear seeing themselves as animals are often prey to dealing ineffectively with the fact that they ARE animals, so the animal parts of their nature are mismanaged and neglected.

For some, it can be scary, but once you have dealt with it, you feel more at peace with yourself.

Archaeologists uncover a prosperous little town that rose to prominence in 1200 BCE, after the catastrophic end to the Bronze Age. Just another hint from history that civilizations don't collapse -- they transform, and there is always a place where people are trying to do better. #archaeology #history https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/antiquity/article/documenting-a-maritime-mercantile-community-through-surface-survey-porto-rafti-bay-in-the-postcollapse-aegean/483FC2DB7F9E3F8AB70242A0B2B30080
This website is well worth a browse to pick up some gorgeous, usable art for yourself, or as a gift.
Not my site, I just bought myself a totem, and just might go back and buy another next month.
Nothing new under the sun, but it is always interesting to see how deep the rabbit hole goes....
