Needless to say: I didn't know any of that before I played that nation.
What I also did not know was that the east coast of Africa was well settled thickly and full of big trading posts and cities.
"Africa was full of savages!" is a myth at best and a lie at worst.

So, Europa Universalis 4 is one of my favourite games.
So I started to look at some interesting nations/countries to play and came Ajuran (EU4 uses the somali transliteration Ajuuraan)
It has some very nice ideas, basically strength you can use.
Naturally I read up on it, the history and how it came to be.
"In the 13th century AD, the Ajuran Empire was the only hydraulic empire in Africa. As an hydraulic empire, the Ajuran monopolized the water resources of the Shebelle and Jubba rivers."
In game terms it makes it easier to develop provinces.
I love alternative history, so what would have happened if Ajuuraan had colonized/settled large areas of land and expanded over the entire east coast of Africa?

@art I talked about PCs and the constant upgrading and workstations. He didn't understand what I meant.
He has a laptop in the attic, a PC in his office and another laptop in the ground floor.
One cluster of these mini computers and three workstations would do the trick.
I have here a laptop and a gaming machine. Same thing.

@haikukitteh
Ok, Mastodon hot take time (again!)

It's so easy to engage with people here and share some culture. <3

@haikukitteh
Exactly what it is. It's just a mesh fence with stones in it.
The problem with hedges is: You have to cut it every or every other year and my dad's getting to old for that. :/

@TauAs

@haikukitteh These things became incredible popular recently.
We even built one ourselves. Dad builds everything ...

@haikukitteh Well, not all areas of the US are as rich in water as northern Germany. It rains more here than in the UK :D (in normal years, this summer was horrible)

Some people following me may wonder why I I sharing most if not everything I ever produced?
Because it will force me to make more :)

@freemo Reading what I wrote there still gives me shivers.

So, cultural time!
I removed the audio because I was talking to my mom :D
And by the way, I take the camera off the street when I am about to film a person. That's not legal here without their consent.

I switched from german to english in my playthroughs to get better at english. My accent was horrible and I didn't know enough words.
You take your time. I had to ask :D
