Any antique jewellery experts on here?

I've just found a locket in an old box that belonged to my granny. It has a photo in and initials on the back, but I can't work out who it is. I'd love some help dating the style (it's British, if that helps), and I'm also wondering whether the custom was for the initials to be the person in the photo or the person wearing the locket. It looks like WB to me, which gives me two obvious options in my family tree, both of whom were men. Could it have been hung on a watch fob rather than a necklace?

I'm not assuming that the photo is necessarily the original one, so it could be a mismatch with the initials. It's just a bit of a puzzle, as I mostly know what all my granny's family looked like, and this lady isn't familiar!

Some days the peaks of the #Cuillins, twenty or so miles away from the village, are completely lost in the mist. At other times they appear hazy and distant. On a clear day with the slopes covered in high contrast snow they seem just out of reach.

Today would have been Douglas Adams' 71st birthday. The Hitchhikers Guide is definitely one of my favorite books and comfort reads. No one made the end of the world so much fun like he did.
