Imagine reading a 300-page storybook or a 300-page storybook containing 30 different stories. Which would be easier to remember? I think it would be much easier to remember a book with a single story.

This is because the events that happen in a single story are connected and we are exposed to details for a longer period of time. 30 different stories are not connected to each other and we are exposed to the details of the stories in a much shorter time.

I can see the value in proprietary apps and platforms that make it easy for users. I can also see the value in a well-kept turnpike or toll bridge.

But.

There is even greater value in open source, non-proprietary networks and protocols, just there is greater value in the public highway being open to all.

But law and policy, like politics, is the art of the possible.

Rather than building another bridge or road, removing the toll-booths on the current ones may be a good approach.

I wasn't expecting my first professional engagement after finishing work in a church to be "a whirlwind of burlesque, drag, stand-up and variety!" but here we are.

I know that a lot of people have no idea where food comes from or don’t have relationship with food other than it comes from groceries/restaurant/mother/wife. This. This is wild.
