I'm a Senior Research Fellow @IFPRI, where I've been for 27 years. I work on gender & intrahh issues, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, poverty & economic mobility.

I'm from the Philippines and growing up there has shaped my views on things A LOT. Like the need to decolonize development research.

I am a health economist who uses #econometrics for my research on health #inequalities. I am professor of economics at the University of York.
