the important thing happening today is not on self-centered US, but across the pond.
@spike And the Author of the work is at: https://treesinthewoods.tumblr.com/post/66746557336/shuping-liu-jackie-krasnokutskaya
Shuping Liu and Jackie Krasnokutskaya get the kudos.
Great work.
Google DID NOT find this - it only shows numerous unattributed copies on pinterest.
Bing is my go to search engine, and it's thanks to it that I located all of the above info.
@spike Thank you. I took the challenge and searched for it (which I usually do if a post is interesting and lacks source or details).

@lordbowlich
There seem to be a lot of short, one liner cryptic messages too, some of those take ages to make sense of.
No wonder they may go without responses. But that is a large number of messages for the number of users, yes.
and it's a lively Local feed too.
@thegibson
Just sent a Heads Up DM to a friend telling about the special open regs event.
Christmas came early this year. 🎅 🎁
@LennartMathiassen
It is a very vulnerable area, in a fight you might be ripped open by an opponent's claws if your belly is exposed.
I think that's why they react in defense mode, most of the time, instinctively.
le chat, il n'est pas amuseé
@mewmew @georgia @catpostingbot @punkymcmunky @cats
And then someone just posted a very apropos image...
That is a good idea!
I have tons of individual cats who I follow at birdsite, some are nicer than others, the way their accounts are handled.
Don't like the poor kitties with ridiculous outfits, but there are many wonderful pictures.

There’s a durability to older technology, aside from that capacitor debacle from the 90s. I wonder if older tech in some form will be one of few functioning remnants decades or a century from now
There’s a project called Collapse OS to “Bootstrap post-collapse technology” https://collapseos.org
Basically tools and programs for the Z80, a proven workhorse for decades available as scavenged parts by the millions
Very #Cyberpunk
BTW this is a paraphrase of a quote by Shodan from System Shock 2
@thegibson @Miredly @socketwench
That was quick, Well done, guys.
Not frequent to find the door open like that.
@Food @GwenfarsGarden@sunbeam.city LOL, love it. ❤️

I don't know, tummy rub is ultimate trust level. Not for everyone, ask any feline.

And when I say they talk a lot, here's proof. Yesterday snapshot. Higher today.
Server stats, mega posting for a small number of users.

HT is a good bunch, very talkative fellows, varied interests, good place to learn about Security, networking, etc. Recommended. 👍
Nice that you are allowing new regs.
