Caladenia moschata (Musky Caps) - variations near Square Rock, Namadgi NP, ACT. A fairly common and widespread orchid around Canberra in late spring with flowering extending well into December in the mountains. Paler forms at this location have almost no purple or pink markings.

Slender Sun Orchids - Thelymitra pauciflora - near Gipsy Point, VIC. Several plants with slightly more mauve flowers growing alongside the 'standard' blue form (+ several hybrids). As is often the case with T. pauciflora I only saw the flowers out on one morning.

Came across a macro in a snippet of code, and need to know where the macro is from? Try searching for it via the Symbols tab, filtering by "definition" and "macro".

You can also search across the documentations of all registered packages, regex-search through public Julia code, etc.

It's super frustrating to work with computers for a living, because it means I know:

1) Exactly how bad they are
2) Exactly how good they can be under perfect circumstances
3) Why we have 1 instead of 2.

Guess I should make an intro - I'm a Nuclear Chemistry Technician at a nuclear power facility. Previously, I was a man of many positions in the environmental consulting field - environmental driller (on land and sea), fisheries biologist, and environmental scientist. I've sampled and was proficient in an array of environmental medias - biological, sediment, soil, groundwater, air, and radiological. I may only have a BS in Marine Science, but I'm well versed in so many sciences.

Mastodon was designed for websites and third party apps. These are *still* the best ways to use Mastodon!

(Official app exists because new people were only looking for an official app in app stores, and giving up when they didn't find one. You don't need to use it!)
