@svargas Thanks for the advice Sam, I suppose my difficulty is filtering through all of the fluff to find what jobs are available and what languages are prominent.
I'm struggling to think of the end goal, or project I want to complete - so I feel somewhat lost without something to work towards.

@tamas I genuinely love The Blue Nowhere by Jeffrey Deaver - though I must point out it's very 'of it's time'.
It's a murder/thriller based around social engineering and hacking - but the tech is going to be very 'dinosaur'.
I still recommend it however :)

Looking for some advice - what is the 'best' #programming language (in your opinion) to learn if you want to career change?

I started learning #python a while back and I'd say I have the fundamentals down but there's a lot of room for improvement.

I'm not sure whether to pick #python back up and go all in, or whether to try something like #TheOdinProject and work towards front-end/web-design.

I don't work in tech, though I've always found it intriguing and I'm not sure where to commit my time. Any advice appreciated.

In the past I've just installed BNET through Lutris. For this GE-Proton I'm following the guide which is installing BNET and OW through Steam. Haven't gotten in game yet.

Productive night updating the #arch #linux rig, now updating the GE-Proton version to try #overwatch2 on #steam instead of #lutris

@pavot I haven't tried bottles yet, I'm currently installing BNET through Steam with the new GE-Proton update, hoping Overwatch2 runs without the frame drops I suffered on Lutris

@lucifargundam That's cool! I recently heard about a company that lets you buy the tree, and after Christmas they take it back and plant it again so you can get the same one back the following year!
