Mozilla has lost touch with its primary user base. Firefox users are dedicated and actively choose to install Firefox on their devices, even over other popular browsers such as Edge, Safari, and Chrome. They are considered power users, and any shenanigans toward them (such as displaying full-screen VPN Ads) could result in them switching to a different browser. There are so many things for which Rishi has to have "not enough information to make a decision on" right now.

I feel sorry for him.

Must be so hard to not trip over and fall in a pile of enough information. Between Boris and Suella there's just info lying all over the place.

NEW: In a leaked EU document detailing 20 countries' opinions on a proposal to scan people's private messages for illegal material, which WIRED obtained, officials from Spain said they would like to ban end-to-end encryption in the EU. "It is imperative that we have access to the data," they wrote. Full story here: https://www.wired.com/story/europe-break-encryption-leaked-document-csa-law/

"The simple repair is still a wonder. Dell can talk a big game with its concepts and Apple will send massive repair kits to your home, but Framework includes one tool in the box that lets me confidently make any change I want." - FreedmanAE
