Yup, I'd say that means @letsencrypt works fine for pure-IPv6 hosts :
2600:3000:2710:200::83 - - [01/Jan/2024:16:16:37 +0000] "GET /.well-known/acme-challenge/y0GGAeXQve8QXRXBFq8crrwnz0pohggiqOe247ilswQ HTTP/1.1" 200 87 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Let's Encrypt validation server; +https://www.letsencrypt.org)"
still can't get Qualys SSL Labs to connect though, and my local mobile network isn't IPv6 enabled to double check

@whoshepodcast it'd be really good if you said your social media addresses in the podcast.
Long time listener, taken ages to locate you, in the end was luck on the hash tag

TIL.
You can’t charge an EV when travelling without a smartphone (and the requisite app on the smartphone.)
To buy gasoline, all I need is my wallet. Cash, credit, debit. You know, how we pay for everything else.
WTF are we even doing here? Why can’t I purchase electricity to charge like I purchase any other fuel? Why are we complicating things on purpose?
"In 1978, the Cray 1 supercomputer cost $7 Million, weighed 10,500 pounds and had a 115 kilowatt power supply. It was, by far, the fastest computer in the world. The Raspberry Pi costs around $70… weighs a few ounces, uses a 5 watt power supply and is more than 4.5 times faster than the Cray 1."
Okay, sure, but Cray came with a built-in couch to sit on. Checkmate, Raspberries.
"unless something changes, the world faces the prospect of almost a quarter of #Gaza’s 2 million population - close to half- a million human beings - dying within a year. These would be largely deaths from preventable health causes" – Professor @devisridhar
"Rishi Sunak beating Keir Starmer in just four constituencies, poll reveals"
Maybe I should stand for election in the North East Hertfordshire constituency under the name "Don't Know". It's probably the best bet to unseat the sitting Tory MP Oliver Heald.

I'm absurdly excited to learn that 2024 = 2³+3³+4³+5³+6³+7³+8³+9³.
...and it's because:
2025 = 45², and
45 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9, and
\( 1 + \cdots + n \)^2 = 1^3 + \cdots + n^3 !

Proposed homeless centre in Dublin burned out in case it might be used for refugees. After weeks of harassment by known far right activists who filmed themselves threatening the owner. If only someone could have seen it coming. https://www.thejournal.ie/fire-vacant-pub-ringsend-6261300-Dec2023/
Speculation about #UK General Election Date
@djr it would be tactically much better for the #Conservatives to:
1. Not delay the EU border controls;
2. Hold the election in May;
3. Not waste too much money on an election they're going to lose anyway;
4. Let #Labour sort out the mess (and shoulder the consequent unpopularity);
5. Go into the 2029 election with a full war chest.
Obviously I hope they will not do this, but it would be their best option.
@NanoRaptor
This calls for a Clippy bedspread that says...
"It looks like you're trying to sleep. Would you like help?"
I should perhaps explain this: there are many, many charging options out there now for long EV drives. However, many of them have put a lot of work - a _lot_ of work - into not working _at all_the way they should. That being, I plug in the car, I tap a credit card and wait as long as I want and then unplug, leave and get charged for the juice I used.
Instead, there’s an app.
