@angusm @paul I have no doubt it was for all those reasons, plus the fact that 3rd party apps allowed much more curation of what one did and did not want to see, as well as when.

They made Twitter a place that one could control one's experience I had not logged into a twitter app or web version in years.

Not going to now, so .... to me: twitter is offline. It's down. Timeline stopped night before last.

I asked someone to apply at a job because of some "basic" but well-thought-out PowerShell in their GitHub that approached a problem in a very ingeniously elegant way.

Meanwhile, we had humans doing the same thing by hand as their entire job.

That's the real world. Your competing with malaise.

Man, remember when google returned information instead of 20 rewrites of the same basic intro to the thing you googled spewed out by content farms

There's definitely been articles/drama/other stuff that I've completely missed since I got kicked off twitter. But on the other hand I now have a better quality of life
