I am experimenting with #aiart and would like to publish here some of my #outputs, do you think I should, or should I create a new mastodon page? I know it is a very #flaming subject and there is so much hate about it..
Any #mastodon #instance you would suggest in such case? Or should I just #CW my posts?
Here, a post where I am talking about it: [Click me](https://qoto.org/@frayoshi/110056753635356364)
Having so much fun with #ComfyUI !!
#AIart seems so much easy, in truth, there is so much work behind if you want to obtain that particular look or feeling!
With #Comfy, it feels like being inside #Nuke or #Natron, #Blender... basically any #compositing software! And in fact, it actually is!
Sure, you might also get lucky with a 'amazing landscape' #promt, but would be totally random

#DigitalRightsForLibraries should be non-negotiable. Yet Big Media is suing to block libraries' only option to own and preserve digital books! Show your support for the 🐦InternetArchive as they defend access to knowledge at http://BattleForLibraries.com

BREAKING: 🐦InternetArchive supporters are planning a digital rally 3/20 in support of the digital rights of libraries at https://www.battleforlibraries.com/
That's when a judge will hear oral arguments in big publishers' suit to end the ability of libraries to own+preserve digital books.
Have been experimenting with #notion lately, and it inspired me to create a #sheet with most of my publications, the free ones at least
You can visit the page via
https://furayoshi.com/notionpub
It also comes with a nice #gallery view ^^
I have added information about type, #license, status, licensability, places where to download... There's still much to be done, will populate more in the coming weeks
The awesome part about Notion is that you can #filter... a lot! Until you get what you want in the order you want
I know that there are libre alternatives out there, have tried various, but couldn't get them to work as I wanted to, they still need some development. Affine is an awesome project, for example, but not quite there, yet.
I was experimenting with Resolve, so I decided to resume some old #footages and here I am, with some extracts from a 2020 #livestream of a #ficus with #flies #bees #butterflies #ants #insects in general ^^
As usual for my publications, #license is #CreativeCommons (BY-NC-SA) (not the music)
and the #video can be licensed as #RoyaltyFree.
Still converting the videos for the great Archive, downloads will soon be ready sometime next week!

Remember the "you wouldn't steal a car" anti-piracy ads? Apparently the song from that ad was used without a license, absolute clowns.

"GNOME and KDE organizations are working on a proposal to crowdsource a big change in Flathub: to make it an app store for #Linux – including for paid software"
#Contabo is having an amazing #sale at the moment, so I decided to take it!
It is a x2 #SSD capacity for the very same price, so a no-braining #upgrade!
With my great #surprise, this upgrade not only was on the #storage side, but have also gifted me with a 3 times more powerful #CPU!
My #contract was something like a 3/4 years old one, so I guess I would have got the CPU anyway with a new order, but ehy... now I have x2 storage space!
End note?
Highly worth it!
Here a #diff of the `lscpu` command, red is old, green is new!

Just found out about tilt and shift #lenses, amazing! And the #technology behind isn't even new!

Even more cool, you get to support charities with purchases ^^
If you missed older RF bundles, I have some doubles to exchange (yes, they even have #trades! so cool : )
