He has been a family associate since before I was born.. My dad is conservative, my mom is liberal, I'm left of center, all of us think Biden is a slime ball who says whatever works in his interest regardless of his real feelings... So no I dont like him.

That said Biden can come across as charming, so I dont like him because I know better, not due to a gut reaction. Trump on the other hand (also an associate of the family) is disgusting and doesnt hide it, so not sure he is much worse, but he does "feel" worse sinc ehe just makes you feel sick when you hear him put down his wife (something his kids do too)

Lets apply this logic to all the things that kill people then... lets make sugar and carbs illegal, lets make cars that can gonpast 25 mph illegal, lets make bleach illegal too.

The idea of cutting access to tools to fix a problem cause by people is absurdity to me. Guns save lives, thry dont just take them. If it werent for access to hand guns that can shoot rapidly i could be dead within the week right now, so yea this is a pretty seriously bad take despite the good intentions.

No you never said you were against all guns.. but you did say you were against guns that can fire quickly, that would eliminate 99% of guns. So you are effectively against guns...

As for "similar in design to military rifles", those have been banned since the 50s in any meaningful way... full-auto, and burst fire, the only two meaningful features in this regard have been illegal for ages.

@Gaythia We could... IF we significantly cut our expenses, then yes we can have money left over to take care of things important to our future... But thats not the case, politicians want to spend spend spend on tons of wasteful things that dont support our future (like financial support for Israel and military spending as a whole)...

So sure, by all means, invest in our future, but do it in a way that ensures we get our debt to 0 as we do it, which is also important for our future.
