@mzan Nah your fine, its men who dress in womens cloths enriching your children with good childrens books and reading... nothing more. If there is any agenda it is just wanted to be treated like normal people by doing this very normal (and kind hearted) task as a way to do that. It wasnt a big issue in the movie or in general until the right-wing made it one.

@iDoobyLeaves@noagendasocial.com

Wow thats a funny way for you to tell everyone your a moron.. have fun with that.

@mzan

@mzan they generally read perfectly normal childrens books when ive seen it.

@TruthSandwich I spent a lot of time in Europe... The vast majority of Europeans I spoke to about Bernie think that bernie is a wacko nut job, much like Americans do... He has often been the butt of jokes for his ideas....

No.. the average European doesn't see Bernie as right wing, hell they dont even see him as a moderate left most of the time.

@mzan

Thats a completely seperate issue.. you are talking about sexed classes... we are talking about drag queen story hour which does not involve talking about sex.

@iDoobyLeaves@noagendasocial.com

@mzan No one is dressing up as drag queens to convert your kids... at worst they just want people to know they exist and get to interact with them so they know they are good people.. they are reading books because it is a nice thing to do for children.... jesus christ this isnt complicated.

@iDoobyLeaves@noagendasocial.com @mzan

Did you even bother to read the post.

The end of the movie has him getting a TV show for kids where he reads to them in drag... no one complained about that part, and it has nothing to do with his kids.

@mzan There is no ciriticising the film now, but there IS a lot of people complaining about drag queens reading to kids, which is something in the film but no one objected to the film.

@mzan A link to what exactly? The film wasnt a problem, thats the point of the post. Now that "drag queen story hour" is a big issue and everyone is complaining refering to this movie is meant to contrast the absurdity, as it happened in the movie and no one gave a shit.

@cobratbq agreed on all points. once you get through the first season i enjoy every single one of the episodes (well except maybe the recap episodes)

@TruthSandwich Obviously

For me while I would reduce it overall there are areas I would expand and areas I would reduce. So its not as simple as just blindly cutting things.

@cobratbq Oh god no... probably like my 6th or 7th time through the series.

@TruthSandwich federal police serve a lot of legitimate purposes, some of which should be enforced... which again, is why i am all for reducing federal gov't but not that way.

@cobratbq

Season 1 was admitidly a bit hard to get through. That episoode is where it starts picking up a bit. They establish a lot of backstory in season 1 though... the nox, the second gate, the existance of thor, etc.

@TruthSandwich I dont like anyone attacking education... reducing federal power in general sounds like a good thing. Not sure defunding the federal police is the best way to do that though.

@ndz nothing that far away, but this is APRS so you dont always know the farthest away hit, in fact you rarely do. There is so much crosstalk you need to be as strong as a local signal to get through.

In 12 hours my radio beacon was heard directly by a few fairly long distance stations for the frequency I'm working:

95 miles x2

104 miles x3

156 miles x1

92 miles x2

Sweeet!
