@thor In that case sounds like you need advice from Chris Hemsworth, not me :)
I was going to say there seems to be two ways to get more contacts... 1) check in on the app often, IIRC people who were more recently online are ranked higher 2) just swipe right on everyone till you max it out every day, then see who you match, and only respond to the ones you actually like.
I kinda dont recommend #2 just cause it might cause a lot of people to be sad... but im pretty sure its what everyone does, swipe first, consider post-match.
Have you tried being attractive? I heard once some ladies might go for that :)
@thor How often are you on the app? Im trying to think of reasons and advice I can give to heklp
@lowqualityfacts Wrong, all mothers are grand, and all those grand mothers are great!
"A federal judge has granted an injunction blocking a California law that would force online businesses and social media platforms to estimate the ages of people visiting their sites and protect children from seeing content that might cause harm, stating that the law likely violates the First Amendment and would likely lead to online government-fueled censorship."
@thor The ironic thing is this setup would cost them more on their electric bill than an AC in terms of the cost per degree.
@N3VEM if it werent for the fact that spec was changed after-the fact I might have agreed with you.. I call bs ont he good intent.
@chris ahh cool, nice.
@shuttersparks What do you mean, merger of church and state is a fundamental principle for the founding fathers. It is even in our constitution!
@chris You can get that? I thought they stopped making them availbile?
@trinsec I dont know wasp you could possibly be talking about.
yes, and earlier in the thread during the line of questioning i said ...
> Money is part of the conversation, but money is not wealth.. first you need to understand how wealth is generated and what it even means. Then we can tie it back into money
So i made quite clear the intent was to tie it back to money, and thus needs to be quantified for that line of conversation.
Here we arent trying to talk about how we measure that wealth in dollars and cents. So thankfully for the moment there is no need to go into the level of complexity we did in our last conversation.
Yes when the extra details and full complexity comes out it can be harder to answer sure. It is afterall a complex system economics.
Why dont they want you?
I have been trying to find someone I can really rally behind, but I too just havent managed to get there...
There are 2 people in the democrats running against biden. RFK might stand a chance as his name has some clout, but I doubt it. He is also a moron... There is a lady running against him too, the name is escaping me... but since she is a democrat and polling single digits i dont see any chance there.
West and the people's party just looks like a Bernie circle jerk, so ill pass there. If i wanted to burn money in a bon fire I can do that myself.
There is no libertarian nominee yet as far as I know, so no choices that.
That just leaves me with republicans.. i need to give each of them some time before i rule them all out, but they are pretty wackado lately too...
So yea i dunno right now.
By the way the link to what i said that you linked.. that is about how to quantify wealth (how to attached a number to it)... that **is** a very complicated issue. But simply understand wealth for this concept... as in, what does the word mean and what do i mean in how I'm using it... since we arent trying to quantify it but rather just explain it, it is a much easier concept.
@Romaq A bit hyperbolic, but ill let it stand :)
The production of things that have utility to the population. Its not a terribly hard thing really even though it can get quite complicated if your trying to map out real world models. But the idea of "what is wealth" I think isnt too hard for most to understand honestly.
@trinsec Oh dont be a cry babee, you are just hapbee im not talking about pollenticians. Besides its practically winter, the only thing still in bloom is the bee-gonias.
@trinsec Stop pollen my leg, we both know I was just winging it, and I didnt really mean bees-ness. Thats why I didnt charge for the joke, it was a free-bee.
@trinsec You are such a buzz kill!
