@CookieCat While I am ok with private venues requiring masks, requiring rapid testing should be illegal. The privacy of ones medical information should be an absolute right. I am likewise against vaccine passports.

Just to be clear, you are an idiot if you dont get vaccinated, but you still have a right to bodily autonomy that should be unwavering.

@thor hahaha I can see why people on the spectrum would benefit immensely. Generally ASD people interview poorly even when they are immensly valuable.

I have that problem now as I am hiring. People I have worked with for years that I know are the best at what they do come across very poorly in the interviews with our CEO just due to lack of good communication skills. Its ashame because their value to the company is very high.

@thor Ahh ok, so different than I expected. Like the idea though and would support stuff like this for sure.

@thor Do they find you a job? Do you have to pay for the service? Is it like training so you are better at getting work or is it more like unemployment service where they try to help you get employed directly?

Break room at the job coaching place. I received the world's easiest task today: writing about myself. That's what I do on Fedi every day. :nkoShrug:

@thor Very cool to see you taking some job coaching. I wish more people would be so proactive in addressing their place in life.

Do you find the coaching helpful and worth the effort so far?

Offered a few more elements in my bio. Thoughts, feeback, debate?

I added the following to my profile so people can quickly get a sense for what I am about... Thoughts? (See my profile but pasted below for ease) ...

@unabomber

More like dont beleive a random photograph when we have much better data. Nothing wrong with using your eyes, you just need to be smart enough to know how.

@unabomber Its a little hard to notice from the picture. But when you zoom in and actually take a closer look... wow, that is a significant change.

That said with tides and everything else this probably isnt a very good way to evaluate it either way.

@Sioctan

I've used conky before. It seems more oriented towards a regular computer where you want some data on your desktop underneath everything.

That said I see no reason it cant be used as a primary perminant display that never runs anything but conky... all the same in the end.

@khird

@freemo historically, this is the sort of thing one used [conky](github.com/brndnmtthws/conky) for. Maybe there's something more modern now.

@LouisIngenthron I am all for any interpretation which lets me buy the most and biggest weapons :)

@freemo

Good point, but intention there was to highlight the selective attention, and short attention span, of media, especially 'western' media.

@throsby Why do you feel the need to make it about one or the other... why not just care about the congo on its own? Its a good thing to bring awareness to.

@krnlg I mean, yea, if they are trying to kill you (fascism doesnt mean killing but lets go with it) then yea, thats bad enough already... But if i am trying to not be killed by someone Id rather than someone be an idiot :)

@mike805 People dont realize that all those things are still very accessible for someone who doesnt care about the law. Any schmuck can make a fully auto weapon or extract any of those chemicals with minimal effort.

@prefec2

Im not sure Hitler was an idiot. Im not sure if he was super smart either. Its hard to tell when its just reciting speaches in another language. I just cant judge his intelligence.

@georgetakei

@mike805 Every neighboorhood could create a pool where every person contributes a few hundred and they keep a rocket silo in the center of town :)
