@DeepGreenDesign I dont know of anything exactly like that... certainly nothing directly built into mastodon... there are plenty of open source tools that might provide similar expiernces though.

@m1k3 My favorite stiff-nib in that price range would be the TWISBI 580 demonstrator... most demonstrators are a little ugly, not this one, it is my absolute favorite at the price range.

One nice little thing about it is the nib comes out easy and can be replaced. It easily fits many other nibs of other brands. While the stock twsbi is great one thing i have done that i love is i bought a 100 year old broken wet-noodle (very soft flexible nib) fountain pen and salvaged the nib and put it int he twisbi... its amazing!

@DeepGreenDesign I dont really use twitter too much... im not sure what spaces are.. we have lists and circles which may be similar, but i cant say for sure.

@m1k3 How cheap is cheap exactly? Jinhao is probably the best for that price range, but thats on the lowest end of cheap.. I know of some good inexpensive pens that are more moderately priced

I think I want to bring up a castopod instance on QOTO, seems it would be a better alternative to hosting podcasts than our current funkwhale solution.
