@realcaseyrollins If only they knew half the shit you were thinking that you dont even say, lol... you actually try to be a little careful in what you say here it seems :)
@icedquinn Ahh ok, a bit too obscure to be of much use to me.. but always interesting to find little cool tech nuggets like that.
@icedquinn Never even heard of it... is it worth looking at?
I guess they followed you and within a few seconds were horrified and then blocked you (presumably auto-unfollowing you in the process)... ive had that happen once or twice
Sounds like some nonsense a sober person would say...
No such thing as bad decisions, only insufficient blood-alcohol levels!
https://reason.com/2023/08/25/government-continues-to-deny-its-role-in-adderall-shortage/
"During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) allowed physicians to prescribe controlled substances via telehealth appointments; at the same time, parents began noticing symptoms of inattentiveness in their kids who were stuck at home attending school over Zoom. As a result, ADHD diagnoses soared among children."
"State and local governments sued the three largest pharmaceutical distributors and Johnson & Johnson over claims that the companies had contributed to opioid abuse and deaths. In February 2022, the companies settled for $26 billion and cracked down on potentially suspicious orders of controlled substances from independent pharmacies. As a result, many pharmacies were limited in the drugs they were able to order; some were banned altogether."
"the DEA declined to raise the limits in 2023 that would allow manufacturers to make more Adderall, even in the face of a declared shortage. Meanwhile, a lawsuit filed by state and local governments caused pharmaceutical distributors to cut off the supply of drugs like Adderall to pharmacies across the country."
@cobratbq meet with them in a few days. Its a slow process.
@freemo Maybe you were born as a human Intel Xeon Phi.
@Baley thats what im saying, in reality this isnt where thr focus should be at all. But sadly the bias in the world is inte tional and deserves pointing out the skew so we can help eliminate it.
First off there is nothing right or wrong about being overweight, nor is it right or wrong to be attracted or repulsed sexually due to someones weight. Just as it isnt wrong to prefer a particular skin tone or accent.
That said if we talk about whats natural, i mean yea there is a evolutionary explanation. Men were traditionally the hunter and gathererd where women were the child besrers and crafters. So it makes sense men had to be more physically capable where as a chubby woman had more reserve energy to care for a baby during food shortages.
@Baley I kind of agree. Men and women will get a lot of abuse in many varried ways. My issue is more with the fact that people focus on it being an exclusively female issue.
That said id argue the hate is more so on men than women lately (few years ago i may have said the opposite). I mean how many morbidly obese women are there both that are famous and even models or porn stars... now how many morbidly obese men can you say that about?
In dating and personal life id say the same, women have an easier time there.
That said who has it harder shouldnt be the focus. Ideally we wouldnt make the issue about sex at all if there werent such a strong bias on sex in the pu lic on this.
"disappointing middle of the road"... I mean, yea they can be disappointing, but far far less disappointing then the two major parties.
as for middle of the road (aka moderate/centrist) thats exactly why we need them, to end this extremist childist BS and find moderate "middle road" solutions again
@AncientGood Second date, so like a week or two
I dated a woman once who told me on our second date he was a hooker, ashamed and scared how I would respond... my response was something like:
Me: Are you happy doing it?
Her: Yes I enjoy it most of the time.
Me: So you do something that makes you and your clients happen, get paid a ton of money, and cause no harm to anyone in the process. You have my respect, not pity.
> Biden is not going to be pissed at you for what you do because he doesn't know you from a hole in the wall. This is a one-sided relationship you have with him
Umm... he has slept at my family home, eaten dinner with us multiple times, and I have his personal phone number.... I have explained before he is a long time friend of the family from decades ago (before I was born actually).
That said im not sure he cares that much that one person might not vote for him. Then again, neither does Trump.
