Just an FYI

I got effectively a free PS5 and a free VR2 system for it...

All I can say is VR2 is amazingly awesome and its enough that it tricks your brain into a level of realism that is really really cool.

But there are very very few games, cant even play ps4 VR games with PS5 VR... so unless you have money to waste I dont recommend it simply because you might get one or two games you like out of it right now.

But the tech itelf is worth it. So should the game library be acceptable to you now or in the future. Get it... but other than that, dont bother.

@w7voa I clicked this and saw it was paywalled... instantly lost all credibility.

@Cayce5s You can share it with and criticize it with anyone you want.

Might be advisable though in your post you point out the headline is wrong and that you are pointing out that it is lie. If you dont someone might read the headline without clicking the link and thing this nonsense relates to reality in some way.

@Cayce5s Thats literally not what the CDC said, even if we take the quote from the CDC at face value and assume its true, it still makes this headline a lie.

They claimed the vacced and those who have had covid and are unvaxxed... so few points.

1) The overwhelming majority of the unvaxxed have had covid, therefore most unvaxxed are at increased risk just as the vaxxed are at increased risk

2) the article intentionally avoids looking into how the risk compares between people who were vaccined and people who were unvaccinated and have had COVID. It is possible (and even likely ) the unvaxxed are at a much higher risk.

@voidabyss If you want me to watch something youhave to explain to me, at a minimum, why I care and what the video is saying that might motivate me to watch it.

The one quote from the video that seems to sum it up, to quote the doctor:

"The pfizer vaccine did a pretty good job of keeping people from dying... It was deployed mostly in good faith"

Ok sure.

I have a multi-egg edvice I bought in the USA. It has auto-turn off and requires no monitoring. It doesnt have temperature control as its steam based, so there is no way to control temperature. But you can device how long it cooks and thus select how well done you want your egg.

If anything Open Carry means better trained and more responsibke people can carry and display it while people who are twitchy ir not well suited to carry a gun can not carry one but still indirectly benefit from its protection.

Personally id say open carrying is a civil service if well trained.

> I don't get why you would have a need to carry a gun in public, and open carry in particular is physically intimidating to others in the same way that walking around with a large and aggressive dog is.

Open carry benefits those around you as a direct deterrent to criminal behavior. The sight of the weapon on a competent looking man or woman says, "F* around and find out" to would be evil doers.

The large dog can serve a similar purpose IF it is well trained and not threatening to act wildly on its own. (Guns don't often have the problem of acting on their own. When they are improperly holstered, the bearer feet tend to be the victims.)
My current model of PASC is that the spike protein creates zombie monocytes: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.06.25.449905v1.full

Persistent elevated monocytes on a standard blood assay with no other explanation (any kind of infection) are a possible indication.

Also, while the original article has been taken down, smokers are at higher risk of acute CV symptoms (unsurprising), but significantly lower risk of PASC - and nicotine seems to promote apoptosis of the zombie monocytes. (But what dose is required?)

@VoxDei "The right to bear arms shall not be infringed"... very clearly denying a gun to people without any reason is infringing on ones right to bear arms.

Has nothing to do with if your a gun nut or not, has more to do with if your honest about what the law very clearly says.

NICE! As much as I hate the right every once in a while they do something good. Apparently now states **must** issue permits to carry a handgun to anyone who requests it unless they have an explicit reason not to (like they have a criminal history)... This makes all states "shall issue" states!

This is great, am really excited to see the being expanded!

For all the connoisseurs out there... Which cannabis isolates have you tried. Leave your opinions and questions in the comments.

@AncientGood Not the same thing. Sativa is a strain, the choices here are chemical names of the stuff in cannabis responsible for the effects.

Basically Sativa, Indica, and Hybrids will have all four of these chemicals in it. Indica will usually have a bit higher levels of CBD than sativa is all.

@tomjennings

Well its only metaphorical in the sense that it wasnt heroin/smack they were selling but rather something similar.

But yes it sounds very similar.

@futurebird

@Arotrios

No.. the farm bill legalized hemp and hemp **derived** products... which means they are allowed to concentrate the stuff normally in weed and ship it as long as it comes from hemp and not weed.

The only restriction is on THC-delta-9 itself, in this case it is limited to 0.3% concentration by weight. Being the active ingredient this does limit you you a bit since you can only get it in gummies and edibles in its isolated form.

You can also get around the above by getting THCa which decomposes into THC-delta-9 but is itself not delta-9 so its legal under the farm bill.

@Arotrios If you live in the USA you can just order it online. With the passing of the farm act its all legal nationally now.

@admitsWrongIfProven Nothing wrong with telling someone what they should do to better their life. More friends should.
