I dont know anyone who "has a problem with pork" or who is offended by the mere talk of porks existance, or even that it tastes good... Only thing i can think you might mean is jews and Musslims dont **eat** pork.. which is true, but they arent offended by the mention of pork either....

I guess id have to ask a religious jewish ham operator (or musslim) what their response would be... would be an interesting data point.

Sorta. A gun int he hand of a woman equalizers her against a man with a gun in his hand... A woman with a gun against a man without a gun would put the woman at an advantage, but if its a physically stronger man assaulting the woman, that advantage is morally ok, of course, as we want the one defending themselves be the stronger...

But in general since either sex is capable of trying to kill either, on a societal level we would want them to have equal footing,a nd thus both have guns.

You didnt say "we shoudl ban all agressors from having guns" .. you said all men. Men are not always the agressor, ergo this is where your logic breaks down.

adding a gun to the male agressor might make them equal, but that is undesirable... providing gun to men, in general (regardless of if they are an agressor or not) is different that taking it away just from people who have been agressive.

She should have one in her purse in case she gets raped.. If the rapist doesnt have a gun that gives her an advantage, good, if he does they are equal, still better... Since only some men are rapists this would be a failure of logic to say we should disarm men, though if you want to disarm people who have demonstrated violence in the past, while that is a complciated thing to do right, that is a fine goal.. its why criminals cant own.

@peterdrake My favorite manager does meet all your criteria... but i get a feeling it may not be what your after.. it runs on all platforms but is designed in a way a linux user would love most and a windows user might hate...

But its leaps and bounds above how the others do it IMO.

First off its free, and there is no cloud hosting. Instead it backs upyour DB using git.. so its always there, and free, and you have a complete history of changes.

That said it is complete secure even if your git repo is public. Thats because it uses GPG keys to encrypt and sign everything... This has sooo many cool advantages like

1) You can use hardware encryption to secure your keys (just as a yubikey or other pgp usb key)

2) Far more secure since only you can access it and it uses PGP to do the security side

3) You can share repositories of passwords with people so both of you can edit/add/use them by simply selecting encryption to both of your pgp keys instead of just one

4) if you use a hardware key you get all the security of a long secure master password, without needing a long secure master password... your hardware pgp key is the key so all you need is a 4 digit pin... since the pgp keys self destruct after 4 tries a 4 digit pin is as strong as the strongest of passwords.

5) Hardware encryption means they cant hack your passwords without phsyical access to your key.

@DeadByDawn Thats fine... Basically i have 5.5 pages of hand written logs in a tabular format (things like time on, time off, power, comments, etc).. one line per entry... I need someone to use whatever program you like, or do it by hand, to convert it all to adif format (the key being all the data must be included, which adif does support).

I can help finding apps that will do this for you if need be.

let me know when your ready to get started and i can post the pictures of the log pages here.. i suspect you have some questions first?

Why would we have to do that... we agreed women having guns caused equality, and with them getting free guns there would be no need. If you took guns away from men you'd create inequality again, just this time favoring the women... that seems counter to your intention of creating equality.

It would seem two random words have even less to do with ham radio (at least bacon is a play on words), so not sure how that addresses your criticism.

Hey I need some really minor data entry work done... something like 300 lines of tabular hand written data (easy to read) entered into whats adif format... there are free open source programs you can use to enter it and export to adif...

Willing to pay like 40$ for someone to do this for me (ill paypal or cashapp or whatever), and id send photos of the hand written data.

Only catch is youd have to trust me, ill pay when the adif is received not before. Hit me up in DM if anyone is interested.

Are you a significant contributor to both FLOSS and HAM? Floss has a history of cute mascots and names.. so I suspect someone in floss may appreciate the creative play on words more so than a non-floss ham operator who is used to windows programs that look like they were written for windows 3.1 with the hot dog theme :)

@TruthSandwich yea his shares very well may be worthless, but the value of a share can never go negative (into debt)... so at best he is broke, at worst they will pierce the cooperate veil and he will be in debt.

I suspect his companies owe debt, not him (because even the dumbest lawyer is smart enough to know business is done through a company)... So while I dont think he is nearly as rich as he claims to be.. Im not sure he personally is in as much debt as it may seem either.

That said witht he shit trump has done it is very likely he has or will allow lawyers to pierce the iron veil (A term meaning circumventing protections created by incorperating)... and they very well may be able to after him personally,.
