Agreed, well, not so much with the masking part at this stage, its excessive outside of particularly high risk settings... but on everything else, absolutely, get vaccinated, and isolate if you get any contagious diseases, including COVID or the cold.

@libroraptor

All harm, the kind that Alistair describes above that caused harm to him is an example. Usually when we try to put people in boxes it tends to cause harm.

@UnicornRiot

Thats an unfair assesment, though there is valid room for criticism here.

First off to be clear, they labeled certain **groups** as violent extremists, they did not label anti-fascists and anti-racists collectively as extremist and violent.

I also find it misleading that the screenshot presented **intentionally** left off the one part of the page where they go out of their way, and even put it in bold, to indicate that not all people who use those symbols are violent.

@extremearturo

@thor I am an idiot and do one worse... ill buy them on amazon, I cant even download it... and yea im an idiot for that one.

Someone needs to do a movie called "Myrtle Kombat" about a nerdy school student who wants to enter the world of kickboxing.

@melissaryan I agree with this, though, its true of both sides of the spectrum and not just the right. But for sure polarization, which is self-perpetuating is a huge problem right now.

@thor I have something very similar. They work ok, you might need a few of them. If it matters how quickly it gives off heat and heats the room you might want to consider an IR type

@thor Not sure this tracks. Pineapple is known to burn the mouth in larger quantities. The mango thing tracks though, that doesnt burn.

@Amikke

Yea beaing structually stronger than cubes or squares makes perfect intuitive sense, especially for shear forces.

> hex have six directions with uniform distance, square has four. diagnals are an eternal meme.

Not true, hexagons distort diagnal moves as well. AND have 2 less directions you cant move in. Loose loose.

> also was reading some signal papers that hex gates generally work better than square for similar reasons bees use them; they just have a mathematically better fit with space.

I suppose it depends exactly what you mean by that. Space packing is the same of course... so not sure what "better fit" means exactly but id be curious to find out.

@icedquinn Squars are superior for games IMO.

With hexagons you cant go left and right, you have to zig zag, and give you only 6 directions you can go in per move.

With squares you **can** go left and right and it has 2 additional directions you can go in, a total of 8 for every move.

When I was born (early 1980s) the world population was 4.6 billion. Today it is 7.9 billion. Having the entire world population experience a 171% change over just half a lifetime is not sustainable or healthy. Dont let anyone tell you there isnt a population crisis.

@libroraptor

Same, I am of the opinion that the terms are harmful in general for society.

@LauraleeDukeshire

@petrisch Just use the git svn command to access it and dont bother with svn
