A quote from Wikipedia regarding Chinese governments view of Buddhist reincarnation:

"On August 3, 2007, State Religious Affairs Bureau Order No. 5 was issued by China which states that all the reincarnations of tulkus of Tibetan Buddhism must get government approval, otherwise they are illegal or invalid. "

I seriously can't stop laughing at the Chinese government for thinking they can dictate who does or does not reincarnate, lol.

I have no idea why @time and @HN

have followed, but if it serves a useful purpose, go for it.

I am intrigued by the STEM focus and the ridiculously large toot space, though.

Storm damage from yesterday. They're saying we got hit by something called a "microburst"

Maybe for some Mastodon is different social platform. Better than the other. For me it's the same as anywhere else. It's talking to wall all over again. I don't know if I'm so boring or that I'm not a content creator, but my voice gets buried in see of other toots :blobsad:

I discovered almost everything you see here except for the one or two items that were gifts. I excavated, cleaned, and polished myself. This is a life long hobby with many hours invested.

I forgot how huge my collection is. Been unpacking for a few hours now and am less than 1/4 of the way through my collection. Most of my high grade gemstones and fossils still need to be unpacked. Not to mention if I have space I might take a lot of the stuff out of those organizers in the upper left so they can be seen more easily. I think this will wind up taking up the majority of the free shelf space, might not even have room for books on the shelves when I'm done.

If Arch is a training wheels distro now I suppose this means advanced users all roll their distro from scratch with buildroot.
