@freemo Iron made in a blast furnace is saturated with C and is about 4.5%.This is a crude cast iron and we reduce it to 0.06% to make mild steel. Above around 0.8%C it forms Fe3C (Cementite) and looses toughness but is hard, so used for tools which shouldn't need to resist impacts. These are rough guides and are equilibrium based. Once you add other alloys or do heat treatments, everything is different.

One thing mostly left out of the history books regarding Little Big Horn is that the large force Custer encountered had gathered for an inter-tribal Sun Dance ceremony. Army size estimates were wrong because so many had snuck away from reservations to join in.

This is one of the reasons all native ceremonies and dances were outlawed by congress in 1883. To this day most people are unaware that the 1st amendment didn't apply again to the first peoples until 1978. Cultural Genocide.

These are things that if meta implements them and does even a halfway decent job then #meta controls the standard.

Want to prevent that?

Get there first or at least have a strong offering on how to do these things out of the gate. Let _us_ as a community control the standards that we use.

@freemo Haha I’ve unintentionally left spent casings in the driver’s seat of a car I borrowed (they fell out of my front pocket). One time I had a hole in my pocket, casings fell through my pants leg and into my boot. Had to take the boot off and shake the casings out of it in front of people like a clown, but this was on a shooting range at least.

People have asked me to 'preblock' this project but I am not gonna.

Meta is not Gab so we give them a chance and can always block them later with 2 simple button clicks..

We would never ever sell out on you but rather invest time to make this all go smooth without everything come crashing down
