I've tried in the past couple of days... well I imagined worst.

Basically is just like chromium, with the notable exceptions of having adblockers and trackers built-in, Tor in the anonymous mode and the whole crypto/BAT thing.

All are very appreciated, and if you don't care about the rewards of tokens and such it doesn't get in the way at all.

I didn't really need the ad block and stuff, as I already have extensions for that

So far is promising, I may even switch for good

What a great day on Ham radio. spent 4 hours having a round table QSO on the national calling frequency of VHF with about 7 people each coming in and out throughout. Most active I've ever seen VHF simplex around here, really fun.

I also have to get a QSO in on HF just to absolutely make sure the antenna is working well. Hit up a 300 mile contact right at the end on 40 meter right at the end too. So the antenna is definitely working.

Good Ham day for sure.

Had wonderful little QSO just now with a country guy from mississippi who works on boats and just happened to be in the area and anchored. We chatted for almost an hour about all the various plants you can find in the wild and eat (which we were both kind of knowledgeable on).

We basically spent the time exchanged suggestions for plants you can find in the wild that are edible, how to cook them and whats good. Really fun, not a topic I get to share

WOOOOOT back on HF frequencies... 80m - 10m by the looks of it.. 80m i really need to load the thing up but everything else it tunes easily.. gonna be surfing the air waves tonight!

In one month our GitLab instance will have been running for a whole year.

We just upgraded our license and activated it. We have Ultimate (usually costs 100$ per user per month) for another year, free to all our users. Enjoy!

@freemo @SecondJon What's missing from a lot of identity discussions is that there are really auto/endo-identities that are how we see ourselves, and exo-identities, how we see others. Our social identity evolves from tension between the two, and that has to be.

Say I'm great at basketball and a very poor painter. The world sees me as a basketball player who also paints, whereas I see myself as a great, misunderstood painter, and basketball is so easy to me I don't value it.

So I know I've asked before... but all you Linux developers out there.. Whats your favorite multi-language IDE?

amazes me how far my VHF antenna on my roof can reach considering im in the middle of the city.. Especially if you factor in digital modes. I've gotten close to hitting new york city on very rare occasions. 50mi+ connections are not unheard of.

I'm not sure whats worse at this point progressives or communists.. how much overlap does that venn diagram even have.

the irony is I used to be very liberal and progressive but not like this. I think I've mostly come to reject those labels lately just so I dont get associated with people like this.

After well over a month of quarantine I really dont miss most people at all...

After encountering a public domain tileset on itch.io that appealed to me so much that I'm now considering experimenting with game development, I decided to start compiling a list of game assets on Itch.io that are under Debian-compatible licensing terms.

(i.e. Not the usual "don't redistribute or sell alone or in assets packs" terms which violate the FSF, OSI, and Debian definitions of Free and/or Open.)

(The description also lists other sources like OpenGameArt.)
