@isucceed

I think that sums it up well enough.. two sides intentionally avoiding hearing anything that disagrees with their biases, desperately appalled at the other side for not caring about facts... it would be comical if it wasnt so sad.

@freemo

It's becoming a war of cults full of fact-resistant lemmings. Anyone who is wearing a party T-shirt or hat seems like an idiot.

It really amazes me how many people on the left actually think Biden's extremely racist history as a politician during the start of his career was "debunked" and all "lies".... they believe this despite the fact that he actively faught to keep segregation alive int he senate. His words are publicly recorded, certified, and verified for all to see. His racist comments are a matter of public record, undeniable.... yet almost every single time I post an actual racist quote atleast a few from the left claim it isnt real, or it was debunked.

In fact, even when I post links to the word-for-word transcript clearly showing biden saying very racist things... STILL, I get responses from the left screaming at me for spreading "misinformation". Despite the proof right there in the same breath... They literally are so enraged I dare to share this clearly proven misinformation they will call me names sure... but more importantly they make sure they are very quick to block just so I dont have the chance to point out the very clear evidence right in front of their faces....

Its sad. Literally quoting Biden **with** context is enough to enrage the left and get blocked. Its funny how they can block you for quoting biden yet somehow be ok with biden.

inb4: Yes Trumpeters do this too... and yes I dont like them anymore for it than the left. Do not assume just cause the left are pieces of shit that I give the right a pass. As far as Im concerned the left and the right are on the same moral high ground as far as this goes.

@kryptec

by the way, aside from your own link that proves the post I boosted was accurate, here is the actual first-hand source.

In 1981 desegregation was under way through an effort to bus black students in all-black schools to segregated white-schools so they can desegregate them and allow the blacks to get the same quality education as these better funded schools could provide.

He spent most of his early career trying to fight these and really all desegregation efforts still ongoing at the time. In fact, he was one of the most vocal segregationists in congress at the time.

Here is a 1982 Senate hearing in which Biden's testimony is recorded. Not only does he make it clear he opposes these desegregation efforts, but it is also the first time he used the "racial jungle" quote in some form and very clearly confirms that a very similar variation of the quote has been spoken by Biden as early as 1982.

> not accurate / the most alive - you have got to be joking or a full blown troll

What about posting an actual fact checked article about Biden's past racism is "not accurate" and "have got to be joking"? Someone even fact checked it with a link claiming the content of the article was accurate.

> And people DO change. Do you think Jim Clybourn thinks he is a racist? Really

They sure do... Usually people who change after being a horrible and racist human, they start by, I dunno, apologizing. Sadly he has never apologized for his horrificially racist past, not once, let alone the sort of heart felt apology that would be needed to even consider he has changed. Worst yet, his actions still strongly show he is as racist as ever but now instead of treying to push for segregation (which would never work) instead he exploits minorities to try get himself elected and in a position of power.

Yes people change, sadly, Biden has not give any of the traditional indications he has changed. If anything he has shown quite clearly he remains a racist twat.

> You are a dishonest sack of diahrea

Thanks, taking a fact-checked article calling out racism and very quickly showering me with personal insults, calling me a liar, making no attempt to actual show any evidence, and then blocking me before you have a chance to hear any rebutal.... really screams you have the fact-based position here....

@unabomber

@kryptec

It was not debunked (because it is true).. yes it was easily checked before amplifying, and was checked and found to be true before sharing.

To quote your article you just shared:

"the content in the article isn’t misleading."

Literally the fact check you **just** shared confirmed that the post here is true, and correct, and not misleading.

Thanks for confirming this was fact checked before posting and correct. Much appreciated!

@unabomber

Just a reminder. Biden started is wntire career with one purpose in mind... keeping segregation alive. I will never vote for the most racist politician alive today... never.

@unabomber

Just an FYI

I got effectively a free PS5 and a free VR2 system for it...

All I can say is VR2 is amazingly awesome and its enough that it tricks your brain into a level of realism that is really really cool.

But there are very very few games, cant even play ps4 VR games with PS5 VR... so unless you have money to waste I dont recommend it simply because you might get one or two games you like out of it right now.

But the tech itelf is worth it. So should the game library be acceptable to you now or in the future. Get it... but other than that, dont bother.

> I don't get why you would have a need to carry a gun in public, and open carry in particular is physically intimidating to others in the same way that walking around with a large and aggressive dog is.

Open carry benefits those around you as a direct deterrent to criminal behavior. The sight of the weapon on a competent looking man or woman says, "F* around and find out" to would be evil doers.

The large dog can serve a similar purpose IF it is well trained and not threatening to act wildly on its own. (Guns don't often have the problem of acting on their own. When they are improperly holstered, the bearer feet tend to be the victims.)
My current model of PASC is that the spike protein creates zombie monocytes: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.06.25.449905v1.full

Persistent elevated monocytes on a standard blood assay with no other explanation (any kind of infection) are a possible indication.

Also, while the original article has been taken down, smokers are at higher risk of acute CV symptoms (unsurprising), but significantly lower risk of PASC - and nicotine seems to promote apoptosis of the zombie monocytes. (But what dose is required?)

NICE! As much as I hate the right every once in a while they do something good. Apparently now states **must** issue permits to carry a handgun to anyone who requests it unless they have an explicit reason not to (like they have a criminal history)... This makes all states "shall issue" states!

This is great, am really excited to see the being expanded!

@freemo @kithop This sounds like an MRI indeed! A contrast agent can be used with both, CT and MRI. You can also look at the original images: With CT (which is x-ray), the bones appear white (as are calcifications, the contrast agent and metal). With MRI, it depends on the sequence used. T2: more water content ~ more white. T1: more fat ~ more white, roughly. But there are many more.
