Forge federation: How forge friends want to liberate your code

What if you could easily collaborate with any free software project, no matter where it is hosted?

This is the objective and vision that the forgefriends community is working hard to realize.

Using the Fediverse and open standards such as ActivityPub and DVCS they will enable free software development to liberate itself from centralized platforms that lock projects in with their network effects and FOMO.

Each presentation is followed by a Q&A session where you can ask the presenter how you can jump in.

No installation or registration is required. The webinar uses a Jitsi room open to all

(said without hate, it is simply a statement that is more measurable than ever now that we realise how it works)

Once you realise that one line, you can also start to imagine outside of only commercial containers that perpetuate things

@valleyforge - it's existence itself is *for* unfair advantage and unfair leverage developed as time has gone on

(for example cheating / not having obligations when buying or being able to shift things and start again in wrong way again under 'new' name for a new shell)

- generally one after another business books and techniques are for a kind of tricking of customer or system process which knows and is designed itself these things stemming from Government itself in developement of it (all companies are allowed to be born from Government as virtual entit) so it's no wonder they the rulers or givers of power can do things that don't apply to people (morally or as business)

In many things it's really obvious the system (or pattern of rules) are in often double-standard or favour of some things and not in favour of oter things / other people. And sometimes just downright 'magically created'.

People expect a system to be fair or neutral / not empty but it's very political and only even more bent with the same for-profit leanings.

While I might agree not to try in never-ending ways with same person/people. I think it is needed even if on first look the person doesn't believe or agree to try another way indirectly or directly.

Many sub-reasons are about technique or timing, environment. To come back after a while or show a diagram instead of text, all all somewhere else can help see things much better.
Sub-Reasons that help person say which part is at fault, their prejudices presently in their brain - the picture for example in their head with a certain word while the logics jump to thinking this or that, charity is hippy or whatever.

Something is there, it's also about your belief in your technique, and temperament, sociable equipment you have, and many things that can allow you to measurably work, AND THEN EXIT.
A conditional thing or time thing often ends up the stale-mate or check-mate that nobody has time or sees the point in listening or just hang out with same crowds
#hackers perhaps though much more available nowadays as they see gender, code of conduct, education and ALL of life needed (not just computer though one or two millions are still stuck there in computer-thinking)

So anyway believing you can say something and find some commonality is your things AND theirs. If you get 0 back, can't hack, can't track, then maybe it's wack!

All the while a 2nd I would attempt why ? Because both sayer and receiver are currently in this revolution happening in itself; to tolerate people, to give time since much of Capitalisms xyz design is deliberately cutting it out, and also just not be scared.... etc etc could do a podcast on it)

Overall all is needed on many levels (maybe not by public figures all the time) but we lower ranks do a certain amount of the disposable work using our time to level up, but almost it works oppositely too (all can strangly work) where *especially* if you have weight as a public figure or higher skills in something else THEN it still can be a MASSIVE impact you "Mother Theresa / Gandhi it" and do a visit or tap on the shoulder to people and bless a few people in passing on the way to your conference or going up the mountain (or whatever famous people do) and give anyone / someone some 'awe' or even 'confusion' to "why did he do that?" or to think about it from high to low level person.

So all this can be like a 'thrown-away' portion of one's effort (throw a few cents or seed and see if it grows) and some classic morality leverage and guilty-tripping in measured approach I think is very wise :) <--- ducks the tomatoes and shoes being thrown!

And however this quote was meant or said I think it's important to say and knowing THAT QUOTES ARE VERY MISLEADING even in the positive sense misleading so I'm even more delighted if you were to tack on what you were reading or encourage why you add here a bit cold / unpersonally as a post!!!

Individuals and family also need to be responsible and decide because by not doing they FEED all that for things like corruption to be possible (less directly they are responsible but still ignoring or not fighting back is allowing it sometimes).

When you say nothing or don't do (with the right people or opposition) / don't show where you stand / don't construct / don't keep on looking in between your day to day and family life, then there is stagnation and not much else going to happen.

It is measurably wrong in many ways and allowing it to happen by not doing these things on a day-to-day basic. Main point overall is people need to fix up also from having holiday away from life and realise it's all part of it or else lose it forever.
