Free Software as a people or movement could also think about working on *exactly* the same things Capitalism has right now because it is giving the masses what they want and works (even in the wrong polarity).

My current ideas are:

- Own advertising and education system (something a bit better than our individual websites)
Call it a basic 'web ring' or education centre... either way WE MUST (as I see) do more advertising or educating more actively and even ' aggressive ' by Free Software standards almost too polite to really put logos etc on other things around (from software logos in videos to privacy products, minimal tech like raspberry pi etc)... Not all of these might fall under 100% freedom but for the parts we want MANY forward links could be chained / linked.

- Freedom TV / Audio --> I'd be happy to do some segments or use my own EXISTING material

WE ALL HAVE ENOUGH SOFTWARE / PRODUCTS / EXPRESSION TO MAKE OUR OWN THING.

If I made software that would track which corporate computer systems you are connecting to the most and show which brand of logos you frequenting / present at, would that help learn something ?

Would it help you to see what and where you are doing things or what your computer is doing and where it's feeding data ?

Assume it's 100% safe and privacy dominant with no other flaws etc just for now to get the main point and answer.

Would the difference in seeing 'Microsoft' 'Google' 'Bing' 'Meta logos or as a pie chart or % help you learn something?

Summary of math and technology (sorry friends) but will also revise it if it's way out

SUMMARY I don't agree it's solving things more than it has the potential to, still humans always fuck it up. So we need to focus on that much more than going deeper in what is being abused.

What I agree is mostly all is good about XYZ field but the how / method / usage is problematic towards what it's for.
Quick stupid analogy... gun is good for quick-kill of a injured horse or animal (or even injured human) BUT sold and made an industry for war is not the way
(we still need to work on the way instead of falling for tech traps or non-thinking solutions - click click)

So I agree science and math do tend to make predictions and explain far better than anything else we know BUT some more things comes with this knowledge as exchange... with what seems like problematic numbers themselves or as another political filter of conversion made up of many people's theory and works.
It's not apolitical / politically neutral but it's hard to put a finger on who and why once transferred to a label or category called XYZ maths or you need to know that inside out to call out why doing things in this order makes it different than this order... which is the priority and why... do hidden accounting skills skew things like fiddling bank books (yeah of course just label x to something else).

Science or engineering can’t 'explain' some of these things perhaps as they also are just users (a bit more educated) and without humanitarian parts well it's just machine-mode / binary / formula / algorithms mostly (it seems).

Math and Sciences can 'predict accurately', but huaman still fuck it up or are the weak point.
How useful knowledge is (what humanitarian wrapping it's in) is arguably not fault of maths or sciences but I feel like unless there is the other parts like yin yang then it's like empty knowledge.
(otherwise we would have solve world hunger by now, and not caused it <--- a quick dumb statement but could be true if we were working towards this or not working towards it).

- profit for further wars
- taxing people to keep them subservient / running treadmills
- slavery with costly luxuries

Tech is politically developed just as a gun is for doing one thing that revolves similar ends and means
