Amazon & eBay Tactics about
- Used and Refurbished devices
- Big company "Programs" (contracts) that require Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (silencing people for 3years)
- People build the platform initially and then get kicked off!

Often big companies have less service quality so "programs" just make a barrier so they have a monopoly instead of high quality quick service from more people (big or small company).

Like Etsy, Ebay is pushing out small sellers and more approved big sellers to play off the smaller sellers.

Refurbished means a lot more than used or repairs (it's all of that + authorised repair + tested / quality controlled / certified / guarantee given sometimes)

Things interesting for repairers
- Unlocking bootloader
- Fixing old devices
- Re-selling repaired devices....

Feedback, customers buy on eBay not really your site... better to build you own of take customers from eBay but not base it all of eBay as you will get pushed or kicked off eventually for profit / big sellers.

Also manufacturer refurbishing is often really bad and just giving you another replacement which is just another to-be-bad same model.

Amazon feedback still today is bad.

Certification is usually a pay to play scheme / creates conditions for monopoly... not really quality control. Again just towards profit and having a badge saying it's better when not always is.
Microsoft MSCE was $5000 - but question and answers are given just before test - just needed short-term memory.

BLOCKING VS. LISTENING TO OTHERS (GENERALLY)

There is something of a modern normality that people today are doing more and more, the short work or TL;DR or anything more than longer depth with anyone (although this is a perhaps a sub-clause or 'edge case' to original thread)

SUMMARY BEFORE LONGER WRITING
People block way to early sometimes or simply don't want to do even 10% work of humanity / sorting things out.

They/People/Humanity on Mastodon or otherwise can appear totally fine / 'normal' (they are a programmer, employed, respectable / a 'busy' person) but totally reckless / ignorant in the long-term work or work of "non-work" interactions (i.e. they don't do any of the long work or longer conversation with others unless forced lol... so home/work but less the stranger/solving life/helping/exploring etc) and block can just become another tool for avoidance itself like you see people running away frmo each other more than 'hi and bye' stuff. And of these types of 'deeper' interactions most of them are unavoidable in life (or become more escalated, displaced and further unavoidable the more people avoid it!!!)

So for these cases, blocking becomes indeed a SHORTCUT to not needing to understand people at all ! Just press a button and "make it go away style".

Anyway read on if you would like to know reasons (natural and based on lifestyle or personality) because I think they are fairly regular:

- Not liking the length they talk with... block them / it!
-Don't like their focusing on multiple-topics and find it hard to maneuver... block them / it!

Whatever bad part people can take and make it qualify can fall under being annoyed. And another way to say it is that trying towards of any truth (on either side) or positives from original interaction or motives is not high priority for the many.

Not even mediation or something for really important stuff like projects / relationships (this could be 2nd stage but given the choice to a person, just cutting people out I think is the tempting way and don't even want to admit they have feelings or need 'help' !)

A fine line but I think I see / have experienced more clearly in many parts of life (writing also) where simply any mass totally blinds people straight away. 👓 Like oh my god and they start running

(how do I judge this, they send me a message back asking what I mean 2mins after of my message was sent meaning they couldn't have read it all and reflected in that time!! But there is more than one way to tell and often comes down to emotions or feeling bullied)

The length certainly almost disgusts people or becomes a ⏲️ time value judgement too (even if they have to get through life with other together and sort it out one way or the other... they can't see it as the 1 and the same! It's like another perfectionist thing for time 🕛 .

So I think it's a bit of a dis-ease (or un-easiness) similar to the middle-class stuck in short-loops of cleaning the same things / getting over-sensitive and neurotic about the same over-done things... rather than accept mess and people's clutter as part of life and accept it as the good work to do since it's proportional to the bad!

Being so tidy and hygienic from almost nothing better to do doesn't improve the more important parts of life and real dirt.

So these types of time values becomes rather binary on first-look - and yes that is a problem though don't want to demonize anyone. This is a basic process / question while people go through while scrolling:

☑️ is it short (Yes) then it's probably "ok" or I 'might' have a look at it....

🚫 ⛔ Is it long?... (Yes) if it's long / not short then probably it's problematic / a bigger problem
- must also be a person that is a problem
- I shouldn't get involve / I could lose face
- I could get more emotional myself and you know how unstable I am!!!
- I consider this someone is ranting at me or others so let's avoid this text.
- I expect everyone to be able to write in short despite life is more practically deeper and more emotional that that.

The avoidance is naturally hard but hard things and deeper chains of thought are needed (even just a bit more!) and do take longer to explain... but people take it personal showing lack of person (insecurity / lacking confidence somewhat) and this is the modern thing I mean (call it what you want).

Also as I've explained in conversation we the people have had arguments that are actually longer in total that sticking with it till the end 😆 (it's good to have a mix but sometimes in one or two parts is enough) but people don't see it until it goes down the page for days :D... as each uses short ways and shortcut words which don't explain meanings or anything that isn't mis-interpretted even more and makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy / self-perpetuated from lack of depth!

A way to solve this is audio chat.. 10mins usually will help a lot more than 1hr of typing in total fragmented WTF misunderstandings... but even experts can't get that coming out of the text box is what can solve it all.

This is my observation, like homework, nobody wants to do it! End of story...

WHY IS LONG IMPORTANT?
HOW CAN SHORT CAUSE WARS?
It's a big jump I just made but it shows how writing short is like the spectacular headlines tabloid newspapers use to get your attention.

I want to keep this post short (doh!) but a persons skill to take basic lines is far better / needed in life.

War also comes from avoidance or lacking to go the distance in understanding or being less responsible (let's face it!)

Avoiding long / personal / political things means leaving it unsolved or leaving to others to do the social work in less clen ways (perhaps nobody is doing it) and certainly no system is supporting it LOL imagine circles of 'how do you feel about your government' and 'how can we change banks not to reap all your energy and ask for more' :)

Imagine how extreme a society can get if only accepting and practicing short writing for what is complex society many claim to want to solve... you think a fund-raiser or promo is going to do that!

All of this long can be so much easier in smaller chunks of long between each other here- yes short also but not only!)

Basically short = not enough understanding always (and therefore ignorance unfortunately

Sometimes in longer sitting someone can save all the short interactions going on with other but sorting it out once and for all!.

Short is not enough to ram into the brain of our system or error-check (which another person can do). And what has obviously changed in life VERY fast (naturally and man-made contaminates) is no longer a 'normal' what we think now or thought when we were taught and learning before.

SHORT EXPECTATION / SHORT-CHANGING LIFE
The everyday expectation that it's ok to live this way is the everyday lifestyle which shows itself a bad design - go to job - buy stuff - play games - this is the main focus as well as family which is more valid but also as excuse not to do the work *with* family in order to avoid giving them a "short" caring world.

"I can't be responsible for it all" I hear people cry... but that's not what I'm asking...

Something in the middle NOT this polar short or always long writing...

I do post for myself also and the points so there are mixed methods in posting but I don't undervalue your time and existing understanding. Sometimes it is nice to practice what is good again and I sure as hell need help, don't know about you. Even others can shorten it for others, like a secretary - WHATEVER WORKS!

END PART ABOUT LISTENING
The way life is right now with listening...or even as adults/people helping to solve problem *for others*... we need to become just a bit better at listening / dealing with it... and therefore responsible ourselves.

(that includes listening to others!)
